In On the Road, you take on the role of music bands who want to reach the Sunshine Festival with as many fans as possible.
In the course of the game, you travel around the country to gather as many fans as possible. To win, you need to make sure they get to the festival to see you perform, and that they don't queue up for the toilets.
On your turn, play your movement cards to visit new locations or return to your favorite festivals. Each tile represents a different landscape. The more you visit a particular type of landscape, the more fans you'll find, i.e. the more meeples you'll place in a bag. During the night tiles, you can draw from the bag. Your fans will be invited to watch you play, while fans of other bands will have to queue to go to the toilet.
The game ends when all festival tickets have been sold. The winning band is the one with the most fans on the floor.
