It's that time of year when the big Hollywood studios are hungry for new scripts and looking for the next big blockbuster of the summer!

Writers - often working as a team - are desperately trying to get their foot in the door, to land a meeting with a powerful film executive. Many screenwriters are knocking on the door, but the big successes are only one in a million.

The Movie That Was Worth 3 Billion takes place in a lavish Hollywood studio. You and your team will try to make your script worthy of the biggest movies to make it into the big films like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, The Avengers and Titanic.

Two teams of writers are invited to present their best ideas to the studio head. During the meeting, both teams work on the same film and present their ideas for each of the five events in each story.

In each round, the director chooses the idea he or she likes best, which then becomes part of the common plot. The losing idea is discarded and treated as if it never existed...

Each team of writers tries to ingratiate themselves with the director by winning the majority of the five rounds and scoring points to secure a writing contract for their film!
