For millennia, entropy was an inescapable force of nature. But humanity has evolved to understand it, exploit it, and even bend it to its will. You have devoted your life to learning how to shape the very workings of the universe according to your will... or rather, according to the will of your people. You are about to become a scientist, a member of the most revered caste.
The time has come to take the final exam. You must prove that you are capable of creating new solar systems, giving life to stars, shaping a range of biomes, and finally, seeding planets with life. It may only be a simulation, and your possibilities are limited; this is science, not magic.
And you are not alone. Throughout the complex, other apprentices are entering their rooms to begin the same test. Only one of them will be admitted to the caste. This is your moment of truth.
Entropy is played over a variable number of turns. Each turn, you must move your scientist 1 to 3 spaces clockwise around the main board. You must end your move on an inner Action space on the main board or on an outer space of an Action tile, and resolve it.
You will build solar systems with stars, planets, and asteroids, then fill them with life by playing cards. You can also acquire various special abilities by adding biomes and upgrading your console.
The end of the game is triggered when 2 of the 6 main objectives are achieved. The player with the most victory points at the end of the game is the winner.
