The Barrage: Duel expansion includes a new map designed specifically for two-player games, as well as the Duel board, which introduces a new mechanic intended to enhance the two-player experience.

Barrage - Duel can be played in two ways: you can simply use the new map to make two-player games more competitive, or you can use the “Duel” board in combination with the other expansion components. The latter option changes the rules of the game!
The new map features fewer ponds, and some building sites will cost more. These sites will change from game to game, bringing constant variety to this map.
The Duel board introduces three conditions under which you face your opponent, each one different in every game. At the end of each round, the player who best fulfills a condition moves the corresponding marker to their side. Keep a close eye on your opponent’s progress for each condition, or they’ll gain decisive advantages!
You need the Barrage base game to play this expansion. You can also use the Barrage: The Leeghwater Project expansion alongside this one.
