Each turn, players use their cards to attack and defend with their characters. Any card can be used by any character to gain bonuses based on color and action type, but characters can perform unique and powerful abilities using their specific cards.
During a battle, each player has a unique objective, such as rescuing a hostage or destroying supplies, and must use their team to attack opponents and interact with the terrain to score the most points before all players run out of cards.
