Japan - Atakebune

Description

Created during the Sengoku period, these impressive boats were used by rival shoguns to impose their supremacy on one another. Designed as floating fortresses rather than boats, these huge vessels were usually limited to coastal use. Most were lightly armed with cannons and arquebuses, and some even sported iron cladding.

This kit contains:
  • 1 MDF and greyboard Atakebune with etched detailling, removable floors and moving doors.
