You’ll take part in the jousts themselves using a ‘rock-paper-scissors’-style mechanic, as well as a series of scenes set around the tournament, with your interactions subtly influencing your ultimate fate.
Once a tournament is over, the years pass. You’ll roll the dice to determine the number of years until the next tournament, as well as the major events that will occur. You’ll move forward in time at each opportunity, until a competitor dies unceremoniously during what will be the final tournament.
This game explores what drives an individual in a competition. It examines the relationships between people whose desires clash. It explores the quest to find meaning in one’s life in a changing world.
