Each player has a nest and four decorative tiles. The tiles are double-sided, with an egg on one side and a decoration on the other. The birds are placed on the table, accessible to all players.
Each turn, a challenge card is turned over showing four items. All players simultaneously search among their decoration tiles for the four sides of the challenge card.
To do this, they must manipulate the tiles, turning them over to find the four correct sides. As soon as a player has found the four sides, they grab one of the birds and place it on their nest. Then the tiles are checked: If they are correct, the player wins a baby bird token.
If the tiles do not match the challenge card, the player wins nothing.
Players who have not caught a bird also win nothing. To extend the gaming experience and evolve with the child, Bidibirdy offers a second level of difficulty: you have to find the 4 correct elements AND place your 4 tiles in a square identical to the card.
