Assemble and draw robots!
DrawBot is a "Roll & Write" type game in which all players perform their actions at the same time as rolling the dice. Players aim to fill a customer's order before everyone else by drawing on their factory sheet the available robot parts.
At the beginning of each round, the shop foreman rolls the 4 dice that determine the parts available for the robot. He or she chooses one that only they can use. This part is in limited quantity; the foreman keeps it exclusively for himself. The other players can take any dice other than that of the workshop manager. The same die can be chosen by several players. This shows that these robot parts are available in larger quantities!
As soon as the foreman has chosen a die, all players choose an action:
- PULL: The player the piece represented on the die he has chosen
- BOOST : The player uses 2 energies and then draws any piece of his choice.
- ACCUMULATE: Player draws nothing and circles 1 energy
Players can only draw on the face in front of them. Before drawing, they can use 1 energy to turn their worksheet to access the workstation of their choice.
The first to complete a controlled robot scores 3 points. When a customer's order is completed, the robot is removed and replaced by a new robot design. If a completed robot does not or no longer matches a customer's order, it is worth only 1 point. If two players finish the same robot at the same time, this robot design is worth only one point!
The game ends when a designer finishes his 4th robot. He circles 1 bonus point for finishing the first one. At the end of the game, players score originality points. Each designer compares his four robots, including the unfinished ones. If pairs of robots do not have a symbol in common, the player scores 1 point. The designer with the most points wins!
