CatutO! — Remember your cards, outsmart the room, avoid the dog
Every player starts as a clever cat trying to hold the lowest-scoring hand at the table — but the catch is, you can barely see your own cards. CatutO! is a fast memory and bluffing game where a good memory, a bit of nerve, and the right action card at the right moment can turn the whole round around.
How it works
Each player starts with 4 face-down cards, peeking at only two of them before play begins — the rest stay a mystery, even to their owner. On your turn, either take the top card from the discard pile and swap it into your hand, or draw a fresh card and choose to swap it in or discard it. Draw an action card, and you can use its special power right away.
Action cards
- Angry Dog — force an opponent to discard one of their cards, then they draw blind
- Cage — skip an opponent's next turn entirely
- Peek (1) — look at one of your own cards
- Peek (2) — look at two of your own cards
- Dig — draw 3 cards from the deck, keep one, return the other two
- Swap — trade one card with another player, sight unseen
How a round ends
Once a player believes they hold the lowest total, they call it out, everyone else gets one final turn to improve their hand, and scores are revealed. Lowest total wins the round — ties trigger a tiebreaker round.
