WorditO! — Think fast, shout faster
WorditO! is a sharp, speedy word game that rewards quick thinking as much as vocabulary. Arrange 4 random cards into a square, and you've got your challenge: a category, a required vowel, and two required consonants. Then it's a race — whoever shouts out a matching word first wins the round.
How it works
Lay out four cards in a rectangle: the bottom-right card sets the category (say, "Dog breeds" or "Capital cities"), the top-right card gives a vowel, and the two cards on the left give two consonants. Players race to call out a word that fits the category and includes as many of the required letters as possible.
Nail all three letters, and you win the round instantly. Get a partial match, and the table has 30 seconds to beat it with something better. First to collect 5 cards wins the game.
140 categories, two difficulty levels
The deck holds 70 double-sided cards — 140 categories in total, spanning geography, nature, culture, sport, food, and everyday life. One side (blue/purple) keeps things approachable: countries, animals, fruits, sports, car brands. The other (green/yellow) turns up the difficulty: U.S. states, cocktails, metals, painters, mythological creatures, human bones.
