EXIT – Advent Calendar: The Magic of Christmas is a cooperative escape game from the EXIT series, published by Kosmos and designed by Inka Brand, Markus Brand and Emely Brand. Presented as a 24-door advent calendar, it offers one puzzle a day up to Christmas. The story: while hiking through a forest, your character blacks out and wakes up in a snow-covered, enchanted clearing… with hands covered in green fur. You have 24 days to unravel the forest's secrets and return to normal.
What EXIT – Advent Calendar: The Magic of Christmas offers
Each day, you read a new chapter of the storybook, open that day's door and solve the puzzle hidden inside using the illustrations and the "strange items" provided. The solution gives a three-digit code, which you enter on the decoder disc to find out which door to open next. A help book offers a tiered hint system if you get stuck. Accessible (beginner level), the game takes about 10 to 15 minutes a day and works well solo or as a family.

Like all games in the EXIT series, this is a single-use experience: the material is folded, cut or marked throughout the puzzles. Once the calendar is complete, it cannot be reset or replayed.
