The Architects of Amytis, place your architects on the board and collect the building tiles of your choice.
Warning: opposing architects will interfere with your plans! Place these Buildings on your City Board to create the best possible layout. Stack your tiles to create height, and match the colors of your plans. Will you choose to score immediate buildings, long-term King's Projects by following his colored layouts, or earn his Favors by lining up your architects?
Each method has its own Prestige!
The King of Babylon wants to give his wife, Queen Amytis, a memorable gift: the most beautiful city ever built! So he's going to need you, the country's most outstanding architects!
In doing so, you'll need to adapt your strategy according to 3 types of scoring:
- Gross scoring of buildings on installation (6 different types)
- King's Projects scoring, by arranging colored patterns in your City, corresponding to your Project cards (completed throughout the game, but only counted at the end)
- End-of-game scoring for the King's Favors, by aligning 3 of your Architect counters on the Central Board, which can greatly influence your strategy.
As soon as 2 of the tile stacks on the central board are empty, the game ends. The most prestigious city wins! Each type of building has 2 specific scorings (front and back of the building card). So you can vary the pleasures of each game for greater replayability.
