You play as a squad leader of the Shifters: an elite unit traveling through parallel worlds to defeat the threats there, with the goal of saving the universe from the ultimate boss: Omega!
To do this, you’ll traverse the World boards one after another. There will be 5 different ones.
On each board, you can choose your path through all possible branches, all of which lead... to the Boss. You’ll be able to recruit new characters to your deck to improve it, find powerful artifacts to help you, and, of course, battle an insane variety of opponents!
Each world will have its own specific rules, and each monster its own unique traits: with so many possibilities, it’s up to you to adapt your strategy! When you enter combat, you can play 0 to 3 cards per turn on your activation board.
All cards slide one space forward, and each one bearing an icon that matches an icon on its destination space generates the corresponding resource: damage, shields, energy, or health points. Plus, when your cards pass through the Portal to exit the activation zone, one of them can trigger its special effect!
It’s up to you to anticipate as best you can at every moment and make the best choices to defeat ALL your opponents!
