Twenty years ago, the Secundus Deus cult was founded by Carlos Ramirez, an enigmatic Spanish nobleman. His daughter Mariana moved to Florence four years ago to help build a cult base in Italy, make contact with a second God and pave the way for his widespread worship.

One year ago: when astronomer Giovanni Conti died, his former assistant and student Vincenzo Costa took an oath to keep his esoteric works safe. He took several tomes and notebooks from Giovanni's Florentine villa and hid them throughout the city.
