Rugged and suitable for intense operations, the Scorpius missile tank is a favorite among the Legiones Astartes as a maneuverable artillery support. Often referred to collectively as "Whrilwinds," missile-equipped tanks are a vital part of any Legion's war machine, providing long-range covering fire or trench-breaking barrages. The Scorpius itself did not enter service until shortly before the Horus Heresy, created at the request of the Space Wolves Legion in a campaign against the fortified city-states of a xeno race. Its efficiency earned it a quick approval and a wide use.

This plastic kit is used to assemble a Legion Scorpius, a mobile artillery piece designed from the Deimos model chassis. The tank's turret-mounted missile system features rotating racks loaded with rockets ready to saturate entire battlefield areas with a storm of shrapnel and flame. Its launchers can be mounted at different angles to suggest a devastating volley of direct fire or a bell-shaped salvo of projectiles that will annihilate even the toughest infantry.

In addition to its twin bolter and smoke, this kit contains items to upgrade your Legion Scorpius to a pivot weapon: A havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamethrower, multi-fuse or combination weapon available in five configurations (bolter, flamethrower, fuseur, plasma or volkite), as well as a searchlight, tracker missile and various aesthetic options, such as tow hooks, symbols and your choice of a space marine gunner or spotter, or a closed hatch.

This set consists of 125 plastic components, and comes with 1x Legiones Astartes Vehicle Decal Sheet with 44 markings and icons of the Sons of Horus Legions and Imperial Fists. This figure is supplied unpainted and requires assembly
