Ronin is a 32-page, A5-format solitaire role-playing game in which you write the story of a wanderer seeking redemption in medieval Japan.
To play, all you need is the book, a pencil, an eraser and two 6-sided dice (one dark, one light). If you don't have any dice, a QR code at the beginning of the book will take you to an online dice shooter with two different-colored dice. Other QR codes will direct you to historical information or music for more immersion in your games, or to download the character sheet over and over again for play and replay.
You'll evolve in a fictional Japan during the feudal era, when samurai were the ruling class. The daimyos held military power over entire regions, while competing for political influence.
Your character's world will unfold as you progress on your quest. By rolling dice and consulting the results on tables throughout this book, you'll discover where you're going, what perils you'll face and, above all, who the big bad of your story is!
