A powerful warrior and leader of legendary renown, Elrond fought on the front lines of many great battles, most notably against Sauron during the War of the Last Alliance, where he witnessed the fall of the Dark Lord. It was he who tried to convince Isildur to destroy the Ring once and for all, which would have prevented great suffering in the Third Age. In addition to his warrior and magical skills, Elrond also has the gift of foreknowledge, which allows him to share valuable information with his allies. Elrond is shown here in the intricate and elaborate armor he wore during the War of the Last Alliance and accompanied by a High Elf standard bearer waving the banner of Gil-galad.

Elves are among the most skilled warriors in all of Middle-earth. Their prowess on the battlefield far outshines that of Men and Dwarves, and Elven archers are unrivaled in any known land. Although their armies are much smaller than the osts they once fielded, their power allows them to stand up to any enemy on the battlefield.
