Magical princesses, guardians of the Floating Islands of Orthavia
Princesse Gardienne immerses players in the kingdom of the Floating Islands of Orthavia, where each player takes on the role of a Guardian Princess endowed with magical powers, accompanied by a faithful steed and a "Spirit" companion. Adventures involve exploring new lands, protecting the kingdom, caring for the Spirits, helping the people, or rescuing travelers in distress.
The French translation of David Garrett's game Princess Guard (Amalara Game Studio), Princesse Gardienne places a strong emphasis on inclusivity: players can play a princess who is a girl, a boy, or non-gendered, with varied characteristics.
18 ready-to-play missions, in a group or solo
Princesse Gardienne offers simple rules, designed to make it easy to get started with roleplaying, and short games averaging 45 minutes to 1 hour. The core book contains 18 ready-to-play missions, playable with multiple players and a "Director of Operations" or in solo mode. The illustrations, by artist Mocha, are made without the use of artificial intelligence, for a gentle, inspiring style. Some editions include a bonus solo/co-op game, Agent Puurvocateur.
An introduction to roleplaying from age 6, for the whole family
Princesse Gardienne is aimed at children from age 6, families, and beginners, but remains enjoyable for adults, presenting itself as a game for "princesses aged 6 to 106." No prior roleplaying experience is required.
