Spooktacular is a thrilling board game inspired by horror movies where YOU play the monsters!
On Halloween night in 1986, the old, dilapidated Silver Cinema opened its doors one last time, inviting its customers to participate in an all-night horror movie festival.
No one really knows what happened that night, but legend has it that the monsters found a way to escape from the screen and invade the theater, spreading terror.
In Spooktacular, players take on the role of one of twenty original movie monsters and escape from the screen to terrorize the theater. Earn points by scaring and devouring guests, battling other monsters, and bringing your movie to life. When the final credits roll, only the most terrifying monster will emerge victorious!
Spooktacular is played in multiple rounds. Players perform their monster's actions in order, then pass the turn to the player on their left. Playing cards, adding guests, moving, scaring, devouring, and interacting with your monster's unique abilities are common actions you can take during your turn.
As soon as a player reaches 50 points OR there are no more tickets to take, the game ends. All players earn points equal to the points shown on the tickets they hold. The player with the most points wins.
