The island of Atlantis, your home, is sinking. Will you be able to save your people in time?
Atlantis Rising features new illustrations and modern graphics, created to enhance the game's strong theme. The Athenian Attack phase has been replaced by the Wrath of the Gods phase, requiring more strategic planning and adding a sense of urgency.
The powers of the player embodying the Advisor have been expanded and strengthened to be more impactful, and the Knowledge deck has also been reviewed and expanded. Variable portal elements, once built, no longer offer single-use bonuses, but create new worker placement points where players can send Atlantean citizens to implement their actions and try to save their island!
Meeples placed near the shore are the most rewarding, but are also the most likely to be swallowed up by the waves, and their actions lost. On their turn, each player draws an Unlucky card, which floods certain areas of Atlantis' ever-shrinking shoreline.
Gather the resources you need to build and power the portal, before the island disappears beneath the waves forever!
