In Tembo - Surviving the Savannah, work together to guide a herd of elephants led by the matriarch across the vast savannah. Make your way from landmark to landmark, escape ferocious lions, and ensure the survival of your herd to the watering hole by simply playing a card on your turn. Will you follow the wisdom of the Matriarch, or will the savannah prove too great a challenge?

Tembo means “elephant” in Swahili. In this cooperative game, you lead a herd of elephants on a thrilling journey across the savannah. To win, you must reach your destination, but the path is fraught with danger.

You'll need to find food and water, traverse rough terrain, and avoid the ferocious lions that roam the area. On your turn, play a card to expand the savanna or move the herd forward. Each card has two uses, and your position at the table determines how you can play it, creating a multi-layered puzzle for you and your team to solve.

The game continues until the herd reaches its destination, or until you lose by starving, running out of time in the card deck, or being caught by the lions.

No two journeys are ever the same. Each game offers new challenges, requiring careful planning and constant communication to guide your herd safely to victory.
