Who will rule the forest, Summer or Winter?
The nature spirits Summer and Winter face off in the clearing under Sanki's watchful eye to save the forest from Onibi's flames. The Guardian Animals help them in their quest, providing them with the elements they need to complete their mission. Who will rule the forest, Summer or Winter?
On your turn, choose between revealing a Guardian Animal card from the deck and forming a help line OR using 1 of the 2 Action tokens on a Guardian Animal card in the help line. These revealed animals provide you with various elements needed to carry out your actions, but as in Living Forest, some of them don't like being together and will cause you to lose actions. There are 4 types of action corresponding to the 4 victory conditions:
1) Recruit Animals to the clearing. If the recruitment line contains only animals from your season, you win.
2) Put out fires. If you have 7, you win.
3) Plant a Tree. If you have 9 in a 3x3 grid, you win.
4) Move Onibi. If he makes two complete turns around the Glade, you win. When you run out of Action tokens, your opponent continues to play until he or she also runs out.
The person who finished the previous round first starts the next round.
