Unlike the Ultimate Guide where the recipes are listed alphabetically, here they are listed by rank (Novice, Apprentice, Expert, Journeyman, and Master), which makes for a much more convenient in-game use.
Ultimate Guide to Alchemy, Crafting and Enchanting - Blacksmithing Recipe Book is primarily intended for gathering knowledge from a player or non-player character.
Each recipe has a place to take notes (variant of the recipe, number of ingredients owned, etc).
There is also a checkbox to see if the recipe has been acquired by the character.
A second checkbox indicates whether the character has already successfully completed the recipe once, which is useful in determining whether he or she can move up to a higher rank.
This booklet is not a rulebook and does not contain descriptions of the items created.
To understand how the guilds work, how to move up in rank and especially how the recipes work and how to describe them, you will need to refer to the Ultimate Guide to Alchemy, Crafting and Enchanting.
