Famed for his ability to shrug off blows that would fell a lesser man he was impaled through the chest by a charging cavalryman and trampled by the horse.
He stood and dismounted his opponent in a single blow and continued to fight the rest of the battle.
His official service should have ended with an encounter with Rashka the Devastator,
where his prodigious skill alone could not prevent the great Oni from smashing Reo's body and leaving him a bloody, broken mess.
They said nobody could survive what happened. Reo not only survived, he returned to front line service and has since repeatedly cheated death
using nothing more than his determination to keep fighting and sheer bloody-mindedness.
Surviving such appalling injuries repeatedly has taken its toll on Reo and he is not the fighter he once was. But he is still a Samurai of the Minimoto and a formidable opponent.
