Mothership - Project Indigo, a disappearance on the planet CARBONIS-81
Mothership - Project Indigo is set on CARBONIS-81, a fuel mining planet. While passing by, the crew receives an encrypted message from Lee, the leader of a local native settlement: three members of the community have gone missing, and the locals suspect a newly arrived biologist is involved. As players investigate, they discover a strange illness spreading through the area, far more malevolent than a simple virus.
The module adapts Algonquian folklore, specifically the myth of the Wendigo, into a sci-fi setting, emphasizing themes of starvation, stalking, and transformation.
A pamphlet format, between psychological horror and the hunt
Mothership - Project Indigo comes as a trifold pamphlet, designed for a quick one-shot session or as a side-quest in a larger campaign. The module gives the Warden an intelligent, tactical villain, along with a range of predator tactics to build tension, leaning into psychological stalker horror rather than industrial horror.
