Specialized firepower for Mounthaven
The Mounthaven Supports set, developed by Corvus Belli for Warcrow, provides an essential answer to the tactical needs of the dwarven army. While Mounthaven excels in defense, this box introduces two specialists capable of breaking enemy formations from long range: the Headhunter, an implacable marksman, and the Bombardier, a heavy artillery expert. This duo provides your troops with top-tier strategic support. The set features:
- Two high-precision plastic resin miniatures, capturing all the technical skill of dwarven engineers.
- The Headhunter: an expert in neutralizing priority targets, equipped with a high-tech rifle.
- The Bombardier: mobile artillery capable of saturating the terrain and decimating compact units.
Tactical specializations
Each specialist adds a different dimension to battlefield control:
- The Headhunter: Through his "Study the Prey" ability, he targets and neutralizes dangerous heroes or units with fearsome precision. His orichalcum ammunition makes his shots nearly impossible to defend against, forcing major threats to retreat.
- The Bombardier: A true area-denial specialist, he uses his projectiles to inflict significant splash damage. The more units in the target group, the more devastating his attacks become, making him the ideal counter to "horde" armies. These two units compensate for the natural slowness of Mounthaven troops by forcing the enemy to scatter or expose themselves.
A hobbyist's kit
These miniatures are supplied unassembled and unpainted, offering an excellent opportunity for hobbyists to work on complex technical details. The Headhunter features careful lenses and optics, while the Bombardier is adorned with heavy engineering gear, allowing for a wide variety of textures and metallic painting techniques. These units are not just crucial competitive additions; they are choice pieces that will assert the technological power of your Mounthaven army on the tabletop.
