The War of the Ring - Warriors of Middle-earth introduces a new game element: Factions. These include several groups and creatures that, during the War of the Ring, supported either the Free Peoples or the Shadow.
The factions of the Shadow and the Free Peoples now have their own rules and cards. A faction action die and a third deck of event cards are added. The Call to Battle rule will also allow players to involve their factions in combat.
Requires the core game.
