The expansion contains two modules, which can be played together or separately. You can recruit crew members to enhance your actions or unlock additional possibilities. They bolster the aspect of the game you wish to focus on, and you’ll have to compete to ensure you get the ones you want! When you draw certain adventure cards, an event is triggered!
The events are very varied and can alter your adventure board, trigger a volcanic eruption at a neighbour’s turn, lead you to discover new ports, or even offer events in which everyone can take part to win great rewards. Rest assured that the course of each game will never be the same again.
