Triggs

Description

The game where you tick and retick!

In Triggs, the numbers 1 to 12 appear 2 to 5 times on your player sheet, and you have to cross them all off first to win.

Each turn, you can either draw cards, discard cards or check off numbered boxes. When you draw cards, you take two cards from the face-down deck or from both face-up decks, whichever you choose. You can have no more than ten cards in your hand, and when you discard, you can only discard cards of the same number.

To mark numbered squares, you name a value from 1 to 12, then play cards from your hand, either a single card matching that value or a pair of cards whose sum equals that value. Tick a box in this row for each card or pair of cards you play. When you tick the last box in a row, you get an extra cross, which (if you play intelligently) may allow you to get another cross, and so on.

After discarding or playing cards, if you have no cards in your hand, draw five cards from the face-down pile.

The first player to cross off all the squares on his player sheet wins.
