Iron, Blood, Snow & Mud is a low complexity, quick-playing two-player game covering the Eastern Front of World War II. Lead the battle-hardened Axis forces through mud and snow and unimaginably vast enemy territory, and make the most of your initially superior numbers and overwhelming air support, all the while trying to protect your overstretched supply lines.
Or take control of the Soviet Red Army and pick your fights carefully, taking advantage of the terrain, partisans, and fabled Russian weather to hamper the lighting-quick panzer attacks, and slow down the Axis advance sufficiently to allow your reinforcements to arrive and the tide to turn.
Whichever side you play, careful positioning of your units to allow for rapid movement, managing the impact of the seasons on your plans, and knowing when to gamble all to make or break a breakthrough, are the keys to success.
