Danelag is an expansion for Bretwalda, set 70 years after the events of the base game. It introduces the Danes as a fully playable faction. Unlike the Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms, the Danes do not gain Dalcs from Abbeys or Chronicles. Instead, they thrive by building Burghs, raiding, and slaying enemy Rulers.
