Fibonachos, a trick-taking game where players depend on others to activate the trump suit.

At the start of a round, deal the cards as evenly as possible. Shuffle the separate “spicy” deck, then reveal the top card. The first player plays a card, then all others must follow suit, if possible.

If two Fibonachos cards are played in a trick, i.e., cards numbered 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, or 13, the Fibonacho cards become trumps. Once all players have played a card, if the trump suit has been activated, the player who played the highest Fibonacci card wins the revealed spicy card; otherwise, the player who played the highest card of the same suit wins.

The winner reveals the next spicy card, then plays the next trick.

Once all tricks have been played, count your spicy points to determine your score for the round. If your total is equal to a Fibonacci number (1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21), you score the next Fibonacci number instead of your actual total. If you fail to collect any spicy cards, you score 34 points!

The player with the most points after three rounds wins the game.
