Description

Pocket Battles games can be played separately or linked together for a large campaign.

Printed on a single piece of postcard-sized card stock, with the game map on the front and rules on the back. Counters must be cut out. A set of die-cut counters provides the counters for all four Pocket Battles games in the Peiper series.

Pocket Battle Game 8 - The Bagged Peiper recreates the westward drive of the 1st SS Panzer Division during the Battle of the Bulge.

The game includes bridge demolition, off-board artillery, terrain effects and supply.

The game lasts 5 turns and the German player wins by taking 4 units off the western edge of the map, otherwise the American player wins.

A regular deck of cards (not provided) is used to determine the number of activations for each player and the results of combat.
