In Cardia, each player starts with an identical deck of cards. The game is played as a series of duels. Each player places one of their cards face down, then they are revealed. The card with the highest influence score wins the duel and places a Seal token on it, but it is the opponent’s card that triggers its ability! The cards remain in place, and a new duel takes place. If a player has 5 Seals or a ability instructs them to, they win the game. If a player runs out of cards, they lose.
This game mat, illustrated in the same style as the game’s cover, is large enough to accommodate your most intense duels, whether you’re playing with or without the Protectors of Nature expansion.
