The inhabitants of Chichén Itzá must abandon their lands and take refuge in the city. Your mission: defend Chichén Itzá, repel the beasts, and regain control of the lands.

Beg the gods for help, recruit heroes, and move your warriors to strike at the right moment.

But remember: in the end, only one of you can become the new leader and hero of Chichén Itzá!

In Chichén Itzá, 2 to 4 players take on the roles of rival leaders defending and expanding their influence in the legendary Mayan kingdom. Over six rounds, you choose from a dynamic action grid (the first actions cost less) to move your troops, upgrade your combat equipment, recruit heroes, collect divine cards, and reclaim lost villages, temples, and ruins.

Battles against other players or mythical monsters combine strategic positioning and dice combat.

Points are scored for defeated creatures, controlled territories, completed objectives, collected crystals, and end-of-game bonuses. The interaction between tactical choices and unpredictable encounters guarantees intense and memorable games.
