Bitume is a role-playing game that invites players to take on the roles of characters in a scripted story. This board game offers a post-apocalyptic universe seasoned with a pinch of rock “n” roll humour and a deliberate sense of absurdity, set on a Earth where Halley's Comet has destroyed all traces of civilisation. But life always finds a way, sometimes in its worst form: you!

The action takes place 40 years after the comet's cataclysm, in 2026. The survivors have formed tribes, mainly based on a fantastical version of 1980s pop culture. Punks, Metalheads, Yankees, Amazons, Indians and others, each tribe more ramshackle than the last. All are engaged in a merciless war to control stocks of weapons, food, petrol and VHS tapes in a ruined, devastated and dangerous France.
