Introduction to Evil is an introductory set for Villainous

It is intended for new players, and contains revamped versions of four Villains originally published in The Worst Takes It All. It was released in July 2023, as part of the "Disney100" celebration.

Rule Changes

Being a set intended for new players, the gameplay of the four included Villains was streamlined, either simplifying complicated mechanics or cards, or adding more obvious direction to more open-ended Villains. In all cases, "start of turn" Objectives were made into instant ones, with adjustments made to balance the change.

The set also introduces new setup rules, specifically for new players (that is, not intended to replace the "normal" rules in all games):

The game is for only 2-4 players
All players start with 2 Power
All players start with their Mover on their Villain's portrait (rather than in their leftmost location)
No Fate token is used, regardless of player count
