The goal is to collect as many tokens as possible by playing cards that match the previous one, while avoiding being too greedy—or you risk losing everything in one fell swoop.
What makes the game unique is its escalating bonus system: playing a card that’s exactly the same as the previous one—same color and same value—multiplies your token reward, encouraging players to take increasingly calculated risks as the round progresses.
On their turn, a player must play a card from their hand that matches the previous one, either by color or by value. Each successfully played card earns one token, and playing a card identical to the previous one progressively increases this reward—two tokens for the first match, three for the next, and so on.
Rather than immediately collecting a token, a player can choose to draw an additional card to build up their hand and increase their chances of being able to continue playing in subsequent rounds.
A player can choose at any time to stop and permanently secure the tokens accumulated during their turn. If, however, they are unable to play a matching card, they immediately lose all the tokens earned during that round.
The game ends after a set number of rounds, and the final score is calculated by adding two points for each token kept while subtracting one point for each card remaining in the hand, thus rewarding those who were able to play all their cards without being too reckless.
