The 19th century was a dynamic but tumultuous period, during which vast territories of the Ottoman Empire, the Indian subcontinent, China, Indochina, and the East Indies were contested by rival empires.

These seven great empires vie for control, while alliances are formed and trust is betrayed. Players negotiate and outmaneuver each other in a delicate balance of cooperation and competition to dominate the region.
