Low blows and trickery for the crown!
Forever at war, your families have decided it's time to unite and form a single kingdom.
But who will wear the first crown? The battle for the kingdom promises to be fierce. Are you ready to do whatever it takes to take the throne?
1. Recruit mercenaries. Place them in your family's card pockets and mix them with your opponents' mercenaries in a common deck.
2. Reveal the cards one by one. If one of your mercenaries is revealed, apply its effects immediately. But be careful, events can ruin all your plans!
3. Collect as many rubies as possible. Masked bandits, influence, magic... anything goes, as long as you make your opponents lose rubies and win the crown at the end of this epic battle royale.

For a Crown, players can recruit new characters and place the purchased card in a pocket of their own color.
All cards (player cards and common event cards) are shuffled into a single deck, which is drawn card by card. Card effects are resolved one by one by the player concerned.
After 4 rounds, the player with the most rubies wins the game.
