In Officinalis, players take on the role of medicinal plant gatherers who roam the wilderness in search of the most precious species.
This card game invites players to use cunning and foresight to maximize their harvest points, either solo, in pairs, or as a team.
Each round is an opportunity to make infusions, play special cards, and adapt to the family of plants that is your trump card.
Officinalis offers a fun experience enriched with an educational dimension: as the game progresses, players become familiar with aromatic and medicinal plants, while discovering their uses and virtues.
Carefully illustrated by Pascal Boucher, the game raises awareness of herbalism and the importance of biodiversity, paying tribute to botanists, apothecaries, druids, and explorers of yesterday and today.
Officinalis de Luxe enriches the gaming experience with exclusive content. It includes 22 additional cards, 6 game aids to accompany the first few games, and a wooden “Dealer” marker to designate the active player.
A plant lexicon provides more information about the species featured in the game, and an illustrated bookmark is also included in the box to help you navigate between their descriptions.
