Welcome to Pinebox, Texas. This place is supposed to evoke the scary adventures of such must-see characters as Stranger Things, Goosebumps, The Goonies and It! Evil is afoot, and it's up to a group of brave young children to set things right. But this isn't a nostalgic trip back in time: technology and modern problems are in the mix, complicating the balance between family, school and horror.
Pinebox TX Middle School offers everything you need to create your very own 6th grader, with new shackles, new boundaries and even a family generation section, so you know who to turn to for a ride to the site of your next ghost hunt. There are rules for getting around Pinebox and the Golan County environs as a kid with little more than your trusty bike, navigating the strange unreliability of cell phone signals in rural Texas, using "soft weapons" like water pistols and firecrackers to distract and disrupt your opponents, and even touching arcana through dangerous but powerful ritual magic.
