In Kopis, you must defend your strongholds while repelling incursions from enemy factions. You find yourself in a battle to secure your strongholds and surrounding colonies, providing safe havens to grow and prosper.
The warring factions must avoid being near enemy strongholds, which can cause danger and death to those around them—keeping in mind that these strongholds can be moved—while seeking to remain close to their own, in order to ensure the prosperity and growth of their territories. The score is dynamic, shifting from one turn to the next between the two factions based on the territory they control at that moment, relative to their proximity to strongholds, both friendly and enemy.
