Your adventurers are searching a troll's lair for treasure!
The game board depicts a labyrinth serving as a troll's lair.
Each player has a set of tokens of the same color representing the adventurers and monsters who will venture into the labyrinth to bring back to their owners the gold coins—victory points—they find there.
Each type of token has a special ability (the specter can push an opponent's adventurer out of a room, the orc can eliminate an opposing adventurer, etc.).
Each player, in turn, can perform four free actions: draw one of their tokens at random and play it, or move one of their tokens within the troll's labyrinth. Among the tokens drawn are also special 'event' tokens that allow them to perform special actions. One of these event tokens—the looting token—requires players to count their points. Each piece represents a point value; this value is awarded to the player who controls the piece—i.e., the majority of the pieces in that piece.
Play continues until one player draws their last piece. At that point, a final score is counted; the player with the most points is declared the winner.
