Will you become the next Rex Britannorum?

Rex Britannorum is a strategy and placement game for 1, 2, or 3 players. Victory is achieved by occupying roads and cities in the different regions of Britannia represented on the game board. In addition, each player will have two personal objectives to achieve, which

will earn them additional victory points.

The roads and cities are conquered by deploying your troops wisely, in the right place at the right time to win. There is no element of chance in the outcome of battles, so only your strategic skills will enable you to become Rex Britannorum.

In 55 and 54 BC, Julius Caesar landed in the south of the island of Great Britain, then called Britannia. Thus began the establishment of the first power relations between Rome and the various British kingdoms.

Many kings rallied to Caesar to survive or benefit from Rome's protection against the hostility of other British tribes: these were the first client kingdoms.

This system developed over a century, so that by the time of the Roman invasion in 43 AD by Claudius, many client kingdoms were already well established. Among these, the Regnenses, the Brigantes, and the Iceni fought a merciless battle for power. With Rome's support, each tried to obtain the title of King of the Britons, or Rex Britannorum in Latin!
