Sprocketforge: A Gear-Turning Engine Builder

SPROCKETFORGE is an engine-building resource management game for 1–5 players, featuring interlocking gears used to produce mana and complete magical orders for customers. Players take control of a magitech factory, build up their factory by enchanting gears with magical runes and seals, and vie for the favor of the noble houses of Sprocketforge.

Completing orders earns you enchantments, seals, points, and more. But beware: each order you complete creates mana pollution. Produce too much pollution and you risk the disapproval of the noble houses.

Choose your seals and orders wisely to strike a balance between keeping your machine clean, producing enough mana, and impressing your customers.
Will you outproduce your competitors or schmooze your way to the top? Whatever you choose, you’ll need to think two steps ahead and have a well-built factory.
There are many paths to victory, and only you can decide how you will achieve it. May your gears never grind as you attempt to outperform your competition!

The gears

In the game of Sprocketforge, you will utilize actual gears to build your factory. Each factory has 5 interlocking gears that can be outfitted with enchantments and magical seals.
You will earn new seals and enchantments throughout the game to build up your factory and increase your production. You will need to plan ahead and place them properly to create synergies and outperform the competition!

When gained, seals are placed inside the enchantments. They unlock additional bonuses such as drawing new orders, cleaning up your exhaust, or recycling mana from your neighbor’s exhaust.

Enchantments and seals can also be upgraded further in the advanced game, allowing you even more powerful engine-building abilities.
Factions also have unique powers that come into play in the advanced game when an enchantment is flipped to its upgraded side.
