Battles of Napoleon: Volume II - Quatre Bras 1815 Limited Wooden Box

Description

Battles of Napoleon: Volume II, two Napoleonic battles in a single box

Battles of Napoleon: Volume II - Quatre Bras 1815 Limited Wooden Box is the second volume in the tactical wargame series designed by Uwe Walentin and published by Sound of Drums. This "double feature" contains two complete battles: Quatre Bras 1815, the decisive clash between Marshal Ney's French forces and Wellington's Anglo-Allied army just days before Waterloo, and Wartenburg 1813, Blücher's Prussian crossing of the Elbe against Bertrand's French corps.
At a scale of roughly 150 meters per hex, units represent battalions, regiments, and batteries. The chit-pull activation system lets a formation activate multiple times per turn, at the cost of increasing fatigue, while managing Orders at the start of each turn forces players to balance aggressive maneuvers against the risk of formation collapse.

A limited wooden-box edition, with premium components

Battles of Napoleon: Volume II - Quatre Bras 1815 Limited Wooden Box replaces the standard cardboard box with a handcrafted solid wooden box, in a strictly limited run (around 150 copies for this volume). The box includes thick mounted maps and the game itself.

Contents

1 handcrafted solid wooden box
The complete game with 2 battles: Quatre Bras 1815 and Wartenburg 1813
Mounted (thick) game maps
The historical book Quatre Bras 1815 by James R. Arnold
