At the heart of the Commonwealth lies Boston, caught in a power struggle between different factions all vying for its control. The secretive Institute wields unmatched technology, convinced that they alone should shape the future. The Brotherhood of Steel enforces control through military might, determined to seize advanced tech for themselves before history repeats itself. From the shadows, the Railroad wages a quiet war to liberate synths from Institute control, while the Minutemen rally the people under banners of cooperation and mutual defense. 
As opposing ideals collide, Boston becomes a battleground for the fate of the Commonwealth.
