Mindjammer is a space opera combining science, technology, planets, solar systems and extraterrestrial life based on our current scientific knowledge. Its aim is to offer a fun and action-packed SF game that respects the conventions of the genre: a sense of wonder and vertigo in the face of concepts that defy understanding.
Mindjammer takes place in the distant future of our planet Earth and our own species. Fifteen thousand years have passed, humanity has spread throughout the stars for millennia, at a speed slower than light, in large colonies, sowing human life and culture on foreign planets, many of which have lost contact with their home world. Meanwhile, on the overpopulated Old Earth, humanity was stagnating. Our civilisation was on the brink of collapse.
